Palmas del Mar is a beach resort located approximately 45 minutes from San Juan in a town called Humacao in the southeast coast of Puerto Rico. It is the largest master-planned community in the Caribbean. Set in approximately 2,750 acres of land, the resort includes over 25 different neighborhoods; a bank; retail shops; a private school; a beautiful equestrian center with guided tours throughout various tracks including the beach; 16 restaurants throughout the resort; a casino; a full service marina; and security and strict-access control 24 hours a day.
